Should I Credit AI? 🤖
It depends. The ethics of AI are influx, and some people will encourage you to point out when you use AI. Others incorporate AI into their content without mentioning it. Neither is wrong, and the choice will be yours. If you’re posting content for your own purposes and using AI for fun or some occasional help, it’s not necessary to credit it. Once you start using AI to win contests or awards, then you may want to start disclosing it.
This author chose to credit AI because it sounds different than I do. I did give it a tone or voice to adopt, but ChatGPT can’t replicate my voice. We sound different, and it would make sense to clearly state which elements are AI to eliminate confusion or dis-jointed text. Plus, there’s no doubt which part of the copy came from my own head, which I like!
