It’s been a big year at Clapper.
As we approach NYE 2024, we can’t help but look back on the year. From #BeYou to #Clapmas, we hosted fourteen campaigns in 2024. We’ve updated or re-tooled every corner of the app. Group chats got the facelift to end all facelifts, we launched Mini Series back in the summer, and the long-awaited permanent moderators finally made its debut. We brought Clapper to new countries and welcomed hundreds of thousands of new creators. Not to brag, but 2024’s been iconic.
There’s a lot to be proud of, but we are proudest of you, our creators.
When we created Clapper four and a half years ago, we wanted to empower regular people to create content they were passionate about. We wanted to help people find community and connect with each other. Our ultimate goal was to help our creators build friendships, no matter where they come from or what they do.
Through the content you create, the Livestreams you host, and the communities you’ve built, we have seen this goal come to fruition time and time again. We’re constantly amazed by the connections you’ve all forged. Every time we release a video challenge or host a new campaign, we’re blown away by your creativity and passion.
You inspire us every day. Our creators and their interests are at the heart of all our features, our events, and everything we do. In 2025, we want to continue creating a platform you’re proud to create on. We’ll continue to plan campaigns and events to help you connect with other users. And we can’t say too much, but there are some updates planned that we think you’ll love.
But as 2024 draws to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for taking part in our in-app events and campaigns. Thank you for spreading the word about Clapper and introducing new creators to our platform. And, above all, thank you for trusting us with your content and communities. Despite all the glitches.
