Introducing: Clapper Shop Links

We were one of the first video platforms to launch a Shop back in 2021. And now, we’re taking the Shop to a whole new level! You can now link Shop items and your Clapper Shop on your videos. Because Shop Lives are fun, but they last for a limited time. With a link on your videos, you can make sales while you sleep.

In this article, we’ll tell you how to set up Shop links on your videos and give you some content ideas!

Why Shop Links? 🤔

Linking an item from your Shop on your video is a game-changer for small business owners! Not only can you literally show viewers your products, but it’s always on your profile and FYP.

With a Shop Live, you’re there engaging with the audience and answering their questions. You snag a few sales from the Live and celebrate with your community, and then the Live ends. That promotion, the excitement, and your personality are gone.

But on a video, that excitement and personality are always there. We can see how excited you are about your products and see how well your products work, whether or not you’re actively online. Shop Links are basically a commercial for your product. They play 24/7 and are always there to catch a new viewer’s eye.

Now we’ve talked about why you want to add a Shop or item link to your videos, let’s get into how.

Making the Product 🧶

Post behind the scenes of you making your product. If you put a lot of care, time, and consideration into creating your products, people will be more likely to purchase.

Showcasing the Product 📸

Show off the coolest parts of your products! If you create blind dates with a book, show us all the fun, matching products you include. If you sell handmade clothes, get someone to model them for us. It makes the product feel more real!

Packing the Product 📦

You might not expect it, but a lot of viewers love packing videos. It shows how much care goes into each product and really makes each item feel like a gift. Plus, you can show how grateful you are for the order, which your followers will love!

One final note: don’t worry if your sales don’t skyrocket immediately. Rome wasn’t built in a day. It may take some time for you to find the perfect sales formula, or for your products to find the right audience. Keep at it and you’ll find your consumers!
