2023 was a year of firsts for Clapper – and our final first was our creator mixer! To celebrate and kick-off our NYE festivities, the Clapper team hosted a game night with some of our featured creators. Our goal was to get together with creators, let loose, and help them connect – to each other, and with other audiences. In this article, we’ll be recapping the event itself, our favorite Drink or Dare moments, and introducing you to our featured creators!
The Live 📸 🧡
We invited five Clapper creators to an end of year game night. Since this was our first creator mixer, we wanted to make it extra special for our guests. That’s why we carefully curated a gift box for each creator, filled with new year’s decorations and accessories, a wine glass, painting supplies, and a surprise deck of cards.
We kicked off the night by asking our creators to personalize their cup and introduce themselves. They told us about their creator journey and answered some questions about their content, and then real fun began!
Drink or Dare 🍸😈
We created our own version of Drink Or Dare! Our team customized dozens of cards with their own fun challenges for creators to complete on the Livestream. The dares were specifically chosen to be the right mix of exciting, potentially embarrassing, and always entertaining. While we can’t give away all of the dares, here’s a peek at some of our favorites.
- Act out your fave Livestream gift.
- Lipsync your favorite song.
- Mimic a celebrity pose.
- Give a motivational speech.
- Chug your drink.
As the name suggests, if they didn’t or couldn’t complete their dare, the creator had to drink instead. Our players didn’t have to have an alcoholic drink: they could take a sip of coffee, of their soda, or whatever they wanted! There were no winners or competition aside. This Livestream was just for our creators to get together, act a little goofy, and celebrate the new year.
We had such a good time with our creators! Even though we wanted this to be a Live exclusive, we knew we couldn’t keep it all to ourselves. Here’s our team’s favorite moments – and a little introduction to each of our guests.

@JordanJMendoza is the host of Trailblazing Tips podcast and Livestream on Clapper, where he provides practical tips and motivational advice to creators and entrepreneurs. Mendoza is also an author, keynote speaker, and father of 5.

New Year’s Resolution 🥂✅
Since New Year’s Eve was just a few days off, we asked our creators to share some of their resolutions for 2024!
@MarciMarie114 wants to get her parole fees paid so she can reunite with her family. She also wants to continue sharing her experiences in prison and advocating for change in the current criminal justice system.
@TheDaniellaShow and @BrianBToe both wanted to live in and enjoy every moment! Brian also wants to create an epic video highlighting all his accomplishments.
@JordanJMendoza doesn’t have resolutions, but he wants to elevate and scale several things in his life. He wants to continue travelling to Europe, partnering with Clapper, and spending time with his kids. He’s also planning to launch a global health start-up this year! @Sparx.Multimedia also wants to travel (to Japan, fingers crossed!) and wants to grow their podcast!
