Weekly Video Challenges 📸

Each week, we’ll release a new video challenge asking our creators to share more about their heritage and culture. The challenges will update at the start of each week in our Black History Month landing page. To participate, all you have to do is post a video responding to the day’s prompt and use the hashtag #BLKHistoryMonth.

While we created these prompts with our Black creators in mind, these challenges are open to everyone!

Three New Gifts ✊🏿

Celebrating Black History Month 🧡

There’s a variety of ways to celebrate Black History Month on and off Clapper! You can take Clap Back responses to our video challenges (or submit your own!) or give our panelists a follow. In the social realm, you can also seek out Black creators and listen to or amplify their experiences. You’ll likely see a lot of online events; try to attend a couple!

For those of you that like to read, make an effort to read books written by Black authors! You can also support Black-owned businesses, like restaurants, bookstores, clothing shops, artists, and more. Incorporate more music by Black artists into your music-listening-schedule, and watch more movies that tell Black stories. You can even take some time to research and educate yourself, whether that’s video essays or podcasts.

However you want to celebrate Black History Month, we hope you’ll spend a little of it with us!
