With Mini Series, you can organize your content into custom playlists or series. Whether you create an original story or want to share tutorials, Mini Series is the easiest way to categorize and share your content. In today’s article, we cover how to use this new feature and answer some of your top questions.

Mini Series on Clapper 🎬

A few months ago, we talked about mini-series taking over social media and app stores everywhere. We’re so excited to bring this trend to Clapper and give you even more ways to create the content you love. Just like all our other features, you have full access to this feature from day one and there’s no limit to what you can create.

Creating a Mini Series 🎥

We wanted to make the process of creating and editing a Mini Series as seamless and easy as possible. If you’ve created a Group chat or Clapper Fam Tiers before, this will be a piece of cake!

1. Head to your profile and go into your Creator Space.
2. Tap the “Mini Series” button under the video section.
3. Tap the plus button in the top right corner.
4. Create your series! There’s some basic info you’ll need to enter on this page.
   1. Give your series a name. Something creative, something descriptive, or something eye-catching.
   2. Tell us about your series. What’s the overarching plot? What are you going to be covering?
   3. Upload a cover. Make it something eye-catching to give us an idea of what to expect!
5. Once you’re done, hit “Create” to publish your series.

Adding Episodes 🎞️

There are two ways to add episodes to your Mini Series.

Upload to a Mini Series 📂

1. In the Mini Series page, tap the “Add Videos” button or the plus sign in the right corner. 
2. Choose “Upload New Video”. You can combine and edit clips like any video, or upload a premade video.
3. Once you’re done, give your episode a caption, then adjust the settings.
   • Select whether you want creators to see it in Nearby, leave comments, or save it to their device.
   • Double-check the series it’s being added to: you can make edits here.
   • Set a price (if you want). You can change this later. 
4. When you’re done, hit “Post”. You can only post one video at a time.

Add to a Mini Series ☑️

1. In the Mini Series page, tap the “Add Videos” button or the plus sign in the right corner. 
2. Choose “Select Video”. This option lets you choose from videos already uploaded to your profile.
3. Look at all the videos on your profile and find the ones you want to add. You can select multiple! Once you have all the videos, hit next.
4. Drag videos to make sure they’re in the right order. You can edit this later, too.
5. When you’re done, hit “Save”.

Feeling excited but overwhelmed? No worries, we’ve got you! Here are some fun series ideas to get you started.

Organize Ongoing Content ✨

Take some time to look through your content. You probably have a few series you’re already creating! Take some time to create a series for those and get them organized. It might even spark some new inspiration!

Tutorials or Guides ✨

Create a series about something in your niche or one of your passions. This can be a step-by-step series to starting a garden or sculpting, or a series of video guides to makeup or different cooking methods.

Skits and Storytimes ✨

Mini Series makes creating narratives so much easier. Now’s the time to post a multi-part storytime or skits related to your niche. Keep them short, and make sure there are good cliffhangers at the end! We have an article full of tips here.

Quick Q&A 🤔

Can I edit my Mini Series? ✂️

Yes! Just go to your Creator Space, then the Mini Series section. Tap the series you want to edit, then tap the three dots in the top right corner. You’ll be able to update the name, cover image, description, and episode order.

Can I edit a video/episode? 📼

Yes! Pull up the video you want to edit, then tap the three buttons on the bottom right. You’ll be able to edit all the video’s details. You cannot edit a video once it’s been published, so make sure it’s perfect before you post.

Do I need to number the episodes? #️⃣

No, we will automate that for you! Just make sure they’re in the right order on your series page.

Where can I find them? 👀

Viewers find Mini Series in a creator’s profile, either as folders in the space above their videos or as individual videos on their feed. Creators will find their Mini Series in their Creator Space. See below for examples.
