Join us on September 10th and September 11th for a live 2024 Presidential Debate watch party. Our first one in June was a hit with the Clapper team and community. Once each party’s candidates were announced (and they could agree on the rules) we knew we had to host a second debate watch-party!
The 2024 Presidential Debate 🤝
Watch the first Harris vs. Trump debate for free on @ClapperNewsroom. We won’t have any hosts or commentary, so you can focus on the debate stage and what the candidates have to say. Or you can connect with the Clapper community in the chat! Share what you think of the debate and (respectfully!) respond to other creators. The Clapper team will be moderating the chat to keep it respectful and encourage you to share your thoughts.
By now, you know how we feel about censorship. Clapper is a free-speech platform, meaning you can share your thoughts on harder topics without worrying about being banned as long as you’re respectful. As always, we ask that you respect each other’s opinions and refrain from using hateful or harmful language. If you prove that you can’t, then you’ll be removed from the Live.
The Recap Livestream 📹
Join us on September 11th at 6pm CST for a debate recap Livestream! We’ll go Live with four of our political creators to rehash the debate and hear their thoughts. Each of our creators will be from different ends of the political spectrum, giving you a wide range of opinions They’ll share their insight while answering a few questions. The Clapper team (and some other political creators!) will moderate the chat to ensure it’s respectful. And, just like last time, we have a special guest host…
Meet Our Moderator 🎙️
@LisaRemillard will be hosting our Live debate recap! Lisa is a long-time journalist and two-time Emmy nominee who covers breaking political news, making it easy for viewers to digest. She hosted our first debate recap back in June, and we’re so excited she’ll be joining us for our second debate Livestream series.
She’ll be leading a discussion between @Thedebralea, @WallyRashid, @Danasinspired, and @Ahbeeolah.

Debra describes herself as a “professional yapper” but she’s much more than that! She’s a political content creator who you may recognize from more than a few features on NewsMax or Fox News. A lot of her recent content has been about Israel and the upcoming presidential election.
Debra was part of our first debate recap Livestream, and we’re looking forward to hearing her thoughts and opinions again.

Wally is a Palestinian-American entrepreneur and content creator. His content primarily centers around news and geopolitics, including the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the West Bank (where his family lives). You might recognize him from appearances on Al Jazeera and Breaking Points!

Dana is a jack (or Jill? Or Dana?) of all trades. She’s a painter, photographer, psychic medium, and political content creator.
This will be Dana’s first time joining us on a Livestream, and we’re so excited to have her on board!

Abiola describes herself as a “professional info dumper” which sounds like a dream job! She’s an educator, visual artist, strategist, and more! Most of her content centers around politics, mental health, and educating her audience on racism and its effects.
This will be Abiola’s first time joining us on a Livestream, and we’re so excited to have her on board!
