What Content to Post in December 2025

The end of 2025 is speeding toward us much faster than we’d like. But it’s still December 2025, and there’s still time to reach your goals. For a lot of you, that includes content creation. And if you can get in a habit of creating content more consistently this month, you’ll be off to a running start in 2026.

The good news? December 2025 is busy! Here are some holidays and themes you can incorporate into your content.

Cold Weather Tips 🥶

Winter is always cold…but it just seems to be getting worse every year. Share some tips to help your followers stay warm. Whether it’s sharing your favorite coats, getting into dad mode and telling people how to prepare their cars, or posting your favorite soup recipes. People are going to need some help staying warm. You can give them a hand and maybe boost your audience.

Winter Wonderland In Your Niche ❄️

Every niche can do something seasonal in the winter. We won’t list all the options because this article would be long and a little insufferable to read. But we promise, something exists for your niche. If it doesn’t, just put on your strategy cap and come up with your own!

Here are a few classic ideas you can use.

  • Christmas movie reviews or recommendations.
  • Gift guides for people in your niche.
  • Fun things to do during the holidays in the area.
  • DIY decor and seasonal crafts.
  • Holiday recipes and meal preps using seasonal ingredients.
  • Skits about wintertime and the holiday season.

Content Strategy 🗺️

Walk us through your content strategy. How do you create content? What systems or processes do you follow? Are there any tips you can share that will help other creators? You don’t have to give away all your secrets, but help new creators get a leg up.

Content Inspiration ✨

A lot of us are already looking for content ideas and inspiration for 2026. Post a few videos either talking about how you find ideas and stay inspired, or sharing a few of your own. You can even spin this and talk bout how you find trends to incorporate into your content. Speaking of…

Trend Predictions 👀

If you’ve been creating content for a while, you can probably spot trends and shifts from a mile away. Create a video sharing what you think is coming down the pipeline. Or, if you’re not into trends, share what you’re planning to focus on in 2026.

How-to Guides 🧠

Usually, this is Content Creation 101, meant to inspire people who want to start creating content. Tell people what they need to do to start creating content in 2026. If you were to start your content creation journey over, what would you do differently?

Holidays 🎄

Nickelodeon Rugrats GIF

December is jam-packed with holidays. Some of the biggest events in December are cultural and religious holidays, namely Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Yule. If you’re part of a culture or religion that celebrates these holidays, share more about them. How do you celebrate? What are your favorite traditions? We’ve shared content for Christmas and Hanukkah before, for some extra inspiration!

Just like niches, if we sat down and tried to list them all, the cultural or religious holidays in December 2025, this article would be about five years long. And, honestly, each of these holidays comes with its own rich tradition and history. Trying to give you a basic introduction and content ideas would be oversimplifying. We encourage you to do some research and check out content from people who celebrate that holiday.

Winter Solstice 🌝

The Winter Solstice, on December 21, celebrates the shortest day and longest night of the year, as well as the official start of winter. This holiday is all about the winter season, enjoying the fruits of your labor, finding ways to stay warm, and getting into the community.

Creating content for the winter solstice is easy. It’s about winter! Take a nature walk and show us what you see. Cook with seasonal ingredients and produce. Find things you love about winter and work them into your content. This is also a time when you can review your yearly progress, set goals, and give thanks for all they’ve received.

Sound like the usual December stuff? It 100% is.

NYE 🎉

Again, this holiday needs no introduction. New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day…celebrate the beginning of a new year. Pretty self-explanatory. If there was ever a time to make content reflecting on how far you’ve come, this is the time. Take a look at any goals you set or vision boards you created and take stock of how many goals you met. What all did you accomplish? What do you want to accomplish next year? Like we said earlier, you can even show us the process of hosting an NYE party.

A fun twist specifically for content creators is to share your best-performing videos from the year! Repost your top video (or top few) and maybe even share a little context about how they came about.

We get it. December 2025 is busy. The good news is, most of what makes it busy will make it great content. Just have your camera and don’t be afraid to share.
