Video Challenges 📸
We’ll highlight a video challenge each week to celebrate and spotlight inspiring creators on and off Clapper. Just find the right Add Yours and answer the week’s prompt! So you have some time to think, here are the three Add Yours you can look forward to.
- Share your favorite Black lifestyle creator!
- Who is your favorite Black entertainer?
- Share your favorite Black-owned business.
These challenges are open to anyone and everyone! As long as you have creators to highlight and use the right Add Yours, you can participate in these challenges.

Black History Live Panel 🎤
On February 26th, six of our partnered creators will go Live to recap the month, celebrate their achievements, and discuss how we can continue supporting Black creators throughout the whole year. We haven’t finalized our panel participants yet; check in here and on the app for the announcement!

Want some additional ways to celebrate Black History Month? Here are some ways you can take your observances offline!
Visit a Museum 🏛️
Whether you go in-person to visit a nearby museum or find an online exhibit, spend some time in a Black or African-American History Museum. Learn something new about Black and African American history in the US.
Support Non-Profits 💸
Look for non-profits in your area that are uplifting the Black community, or for Black-led non-profits in your area. See what events, programs, or initiatives they have going on and ask how you can get involved. Donating funds isn’t the only way to support their work: donating your time can be just as impactful. And educational, which is the whole point of Black History Month.
Find Black Stories 🧙🏿♂️
Whether it’s movies, TV, books, or documentaries, prioritize finding and listening to Black stories. Read books written by Black authors, watch movies and TV shows made by Black creators, and explore music made by Black musicians! It can be easy to get caught up in the past during Black History Month, but spend some time supporting the people making Black history now.
