That’s why we’re launching Clapper Pets! Now your pets have the chance to create pawthentic content that resonates. No more listening to you doomscrolling and twiddling their (nonopposable) thumbs. All they need is your phone.
What’s Different? 🐓🐈🐃
Clapper Pets has all the same features and functionalities you love…but for your pets. They’ll have their own profile, Fur Your Page, and al-grr-ithm. Your pets can go Live, join Clubs, start Group chats, and post videos. It’s the same Clapper you know and love, but just for your pets.
Because, trust us, you don’t want to see what they’re searching. Your dog is looking for things to make for you without opposable thumbs, and that would ruin the surprise!
What Kind of Pets? 🦭🐍
Clapper Pets is available for every kind of pet, not just goldendoodles. In fact, Clapper Pets isn’t limited to just pets; all animals can create a Clapper Pets account! From kangaroos in Australian suburbs to snakes in the Sonoran desert and Penguins on Chilean beaches, if they can find a phone, they can download Clapper.
Here are a few examples of what your fur-baby can do on Clapper Pets.
- Your snake can start or join a support group for misunderstood animals.
- Dogs can discuss strategies to catch their tail or scare the mailman.
- Your bird can gather more information to share with their handler (yes, they’re spies).
- Fish can join the fun! As long as your gold fish can remember what they were saying…and your betta fish doesn’t try to fight itself on the screen.
- Raccoons can share their favorite local brunch spots (the garbage can).
- Possums can…hiss? Play dead?
- Your cat will share their world domination plans, and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop them.
Setting Up Clapper Pets 🦫
Setting up your pet’s Clapper Pets account is easy!
- Open the app.
- Head to your Creator Space.
- Scroll to the very bottom.
- Find the “Pet” button.
- Tap “Create Pet Account”.
- Give your pet the phone.
That’s it! They’ll give it back when they’re done. Or you can try to take it from them before they’re ready. Considering they have those teeth and claws…we’d recommend practicing patience.
When Is Pets Available? 🦄
Pets will be available on April 1, 2026.
Sadly, Clapper Pets is just an April Fool’s joke. Your pet can have a Clapper account…if you run it. But your dog can’t have their own FYP, and your cat can’t host a Clapper Livestream. The Clapper teams’ pets are gutted. This author’s cat was so excited to talk about her experience in the Salem Witch Trials, and our Marketing Manager’s dog had a killer MLM she wanted your pet to join!
That doesn’t mean that creativity, authenticity, and sharing your story don’t matter to us. Of course it does! Clapper was created as a safe space for people to explore content creation and share their opinions. We believe everyone deserves the right to be heard, be seen, and be valued. So even though your cat can’t cancel you for giving it dinner five minutes late, you can share content you’re passionate about.
And maybe that’s just videos of your cat. That’s okay! Clapper is the place to express yourself without worry about judgment or censorship.
