@San9967 is a crafter and Scottish creator on Clapper. After a year of creating content, Sandra met Mark, aka @DJ_LUNDI. Shortly after, they fell in love… through Clapper. We interviewed her and asked her about her unusual love story which included a Clapper meetup, lovely songs, and a delicious Scottish breakfast. We were swept off our feet by this story and we hope you will as well.

Deep Dive into this amazing creator’s love story!

Tell us a little bit about yourself. What does a day look like in your life? 

I’m retired. I used to work in a hospital and look after patients who had dementia. I was also married for 30 years and had 3 kids. One of my kids passed away days after he was born. A year later I had to leave the job that I love because I had chronic pain. I never let that stop me I am a motivated person. Nothing gets me down. I love smiling. Also, I have two wonderful grandchildren. I love helping people and being there to support them.

We’ve all been waiting to hear this story of how you found love on Clapper, but we want to start from the beginning. How did you meet? What’s his name?  

His name is Mark. One day, it was after midnight and I usually don’t stay up. My phone goes off past 10. That night I was up. I must have been crafting. So, this person came into my Livestream and he started talking about a Scottish meetup on Clapper. So I went to the meetup and after that, we went together to the hotel, and the next morning I made him Scottish breakfast and it went so well. We just kept meeting up after that. He would stay at my house and I would make him breakfast in bed. We are just one hour away from each other but we do the best we can to see each other. He showed me a love that I’ve never had before. He treated me like a princess. 

What are the pros and cons of dating another content creator? 

It’s actually quite fun. When we are together I leave my crafting tools at home, because our time together is precious. Whether it’s just one second together or just having fun. Even though I can sing, Mark sings every day to me. Some days we’ll go live together and he will sing. It’s just amazing. 

So, When did you join Clapper? How did your journey as a creator begin?

I think I joined in April of last year. So I just began putting content on the app and getting to know Clapper. I didn’t go live much, I just liked putting videos about how I was feeling. My hair could be a mess. I just try to be myself. 

Did you ever think you were going to find love on Clapper when you first started using it?

Never. I had been single for six years. I was busy and always on the go. Always doing things for people. Obviously when I met Mark my life was turned around. My life had revolved around being a mother and that all changed when I met him. 

What do you enjoy most about Clapper? In what ways do you feel like Clapper needs improvement?

Clapper gives you a good chance to meet people from all different parts of the world and I have met amazing people here, like Emma and Spring. Annie Butters came from America to meet. Honestly, it’s just about meeting new people every day.

What advice would you give creators who want to find love online?

Just keep doing your content and be happy. You never know who’s watching. Maybe your future wife. You never know. Honestly, I did not expect that to happen to me. I’ve never stayed past midnight ever, and the day that I did I met him. It was meant to be. Love will find you.
