Watchlist: Top 5 Artists on Clapper

It doesn’t take much time to realize that there are so many people and communities on Clapper. Just a few minutes of scrolling will show you art, politics, comedians, reaction videos, cooking, gardening, viral news – it’s honestly a little mindboggling! With so much to celebrate on the app, we wanted to start a series to help you explore what the Clapper Fam has to offer. Watchlist is a monthly collection of creators to help you explore a specific Clapper niche, and this week we’re highlighting our top artists. We have so many incredible artists on Clapper that we tried to focus on different mediums. You’ll see some familiar faces, for sure!

Acrylics (mostly!): @JDubsArts

Nothing about the art community on Clapper would be complete without a nod to @JDubsArts. JDubs is an acrylic artist who has slowly expanded not only his art but his content into new areas. Most of his content is fun, slice of life pieces, and his art is everything from canvases to ceramics, keychains coloring books, and more.

Colors and Watercolor Painting: @CanWeColour

Art is relaxation for a lot of people, and Alix is no exception. Her account is dedicate to “mindful art” and she can usually be found painting with watercolors or filling in a coloring book. Both are as relaxing to watch as they must be to create, and we love the little motivational quotes she includes, too!

Resin (mostly!): @Ashmarliving

Ashmar’s page is mostly dedicated to promoting her business, but her work is gorgeous. She creates resin products, from coasters to trinket dishes to little knick-knacks. While she never reveals her exact magic, we love watching her mix and pour everything together.

Metalwork and Jewelry: @SilverWearByShana

As her name would suggest, Shana turns old, tossed out silverware into one of a kind jewelry. Most of her videos walk through the entire process from start to finish – and they’re addictive! We never really know what Shana’s going to turn a fork or platter into. But it’s always gorgeous.

Woodworking: @KyleHall_woodworker

Woodwork is already complicated, but chainsaw carving?! Kyle makes it look easy, and we’re always shocked at the gorgeous items that he has to show off. He’s taken us through the process a few times and we still can’t believe it!
