Clapper is turning four this year! That’s a lot of history and features to keep track of, and there may be some fun facts you’ve missed. In this article, we’re revealing the top things you may not know about the Clapper app. Get your notebooks ready. ✍️

You Can Have Unlimited Moderators 😎

Whether you’re going Live or hosting a Radio, there’s no limit to how many moderators you can have. Most of our creators will choose around five if the audience is a little large, but you can set as many as you need.

Host 2,000 Listeners in a Radio 🎧

That’s right, you can have thousands of people in your Radios! You can have 2o speakers up at the same time, too. Think of the Ted Talks you could host on Clapper Radio.

Add Badges to Your Profile 🏵️

You may have seen a creator with a stars and stripes badge or a Pride badge on their profile. Those are profile badges! The Clapper app will automatically add a special badge to your profile if you include a specific keyword in your bio. If you want the Pride badge, all you have to do is add #ClapperPride, #Pride, or “Pride” in your bio!

No Follower Thresholds – Anywhere ⛔

Unlike other platforms, you don’t have to wait until you reach a certain follower count to access Clapper’s features. You can go Live, host Radios, start a Group chat, open a Shop, or even set up Fam Tiers from the moment you join.

New Creator Radio 🎙️

Every other Monday at 1pm CST, @ClapperAcademy hosts the New Creator Radio. In 2024, New Creator Radio will be transitioning into a Livestream, so our community members can really see and connect with our team.  This one-hour show is dedicated to helping new creators understand Clapper and answering any questions they may have.

Watermarks Are a Big No-Go 🎞️

At Clapper, we want to see original content. Our algorithm does not push out videos with a watermark of any kind – even our own! Original content, created for Clapper does best. If you want to share some past content you’re proud of, be sure it doesn’t have watermarks at all!

We Highlight Creators…A Lot ⭐

There’s a variety of ways that we highlight creators all-across the app. We host a weekly Radio show called Clapper Talks, where we sit down with creators to discuss their content. We also highlight musicians in bi-weekly Clapper Sounds Live Sessions and monthly Open Mic Nights. You can also look out for our Deep Dives – both on the blog and on @ClapperCreator! Not to mention our campaigns, which are all about helping creators connect with each other.
