Maybe it’s not officially summer, but late May is spiritually summer. You’re planning your next pool trip, turning up the AC, and seeing school-aged kids in more places during the day. And, as a content creator, you’ve probably got a few exciting content ideas marinating. But, like a juicy rack of ribs, prepping your summer 2025 content calendar is a lot easier than actually doing it.
You can have the perfect prep process, the exact right seasoning, the exact right wood to burn. But a good rack of ribs can take hours to make – and, as a Texas-based company, we know that sometimes hours means twelve hours. Your content is the same. And that’s if you have the content ideas already.
But summer’s all about relaxing. You should be sweating in the sun and sweating over your content. So we’ve taken the liberty of compiling a summer 2025 content calendar for you! Read on to unlock some summer crowd pleasers that are easy to make.
Why Summer? ☀️

Whether or not you like summer, it’s an iconic time. There’s an air of excitement, and summer content starts trending while we’re still deep in spring. Call it folie à deux, call it being pavloved by the school system, we all end up looking forward to summer. It gives vacation, it gives taking a break, it gives relaxing in a pool with a cold drink. Who doesn’t love that feeling?
To be more pessimistic, summer is when people start going or posting their summer plans. Your feed is full of friends on vacation, influencers throwing huge parties, and strangers trying new things. A lot of viewers start living vicariously through the people on their feed. And if they have the means, they start planning their own adventures. It’s all eyes on summer content.
Summer 2025 Content 🏖️

There are a variety of things you can post during the summer. We’re talking cute DIYs, recipes, outfit lookbooks, summer-inspired art, and even summer vlogs. And that doesn’t include any of the summer holidays on your actual calendar. Let’s dive into our 2025 summer content calendar.
Try A New Hobby 🤿

Summer is all about going on an adventure. Even going to a pottery class or starting to make your own matcha is an adventure! Vlog your experience trying it and add a little reflection on how you felt. If you can, make it a little series. “Join my journey preparing for my marathon” sounds like an interesting summer series! Literally, find something you want to do, try it out, and make content out of it.

June 😎
There are two holidays to create content for in June: Pride and Men’s Mental Health Month.
Pride 🌈

Pride is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and its history. As you can imagine, there are a lot of things you can do to create Pride content – both lighthearted and a little more serious. Let’s discuss a few.
- Watch RuPaul’s Drag Race, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, or Gentleman Jack, post videos discussing your thoughts on the show.
- Get really ahead of the curve and review The History of Sound. You’ll be covering a queer movie and a brand new film that just premiered at Cannes!
- Post a short biography about some queer icons. Bonus points if they’re not covered very much.
- Share some LGBTQ+ organizations that are doing valuable work, either globally, nationally, or in your state.
Men’s Mental Health 🧠

June is also Men’s Mental Health Month (MMHAM). MMHAM is about raising awareness about the unique mental health struggles men face. This is obviously a heavier topic, but it can still be done! Here are a few ways.
- Share some self-care or mental health resources specifically created for men.
- If you feel comfortable, share a few tools, resources, or tricks that help you get out of a mental health rut.
- Actually discuss MMHAM and the current men’s mental health crisis. What is it? How can they combat it?
Summer Bucket List 🪣

This can be you checking things off your summer bucket list, or it can be you recommending things people have to do this summer. You can either give a few recommendations for things in your area or general things you want to try.
The best part: your bucket list doesn’t have to be super exciting! All you need is a good hook. “Five things that will help you survive summer”, or “Ten things you HAVE to do this summer”. Trust us, people will be sat.
July 🧨

In the US, the Fourth of July is one of the biggest summer holidays – if not the biggest. Last year, we covered Fourth of July content in greater detail, but that was 2024. This is summer 2025; it needs a refresh. Here are a few ideas for the most American of holidays.
- Host a virtual Fourth of July party. Get with your followers and have a little party! Everyone brings their ideal Fourth of July meal, has a little drink, and plays a game.
- Test out a few cocktail recipes. Margarita ice cream pops? Rocket pop punch? We’re liking, sharing, and commenting.
- Make a few videos about American history! Deep dive into something unbelievable, something inspiring, or even a darker time in American history.
Summer in Your Niche 🍹

We’re not going to sit here and list out content for literally every niche on Clapper. No one has the time for that, and it wouldn’t encourage you to be creative. Instead, we’re going to suggest you think about summer in your specific niche.
As a food creator, what kind of recipes can you share for summer? Maybe you can recommend some fun new snacks people can try! As a lifestyle creator, post some outfit inspo or trend predictions. As an author, artist, or songwriter, create something related to summer. Paint a beautiful summer landscape, write a song about summer (Hozier’s “July” is great inspiration), or write a short story that can only exist in summer. Parent creators can share fun activities to do with their children.
Spend some time thinking about what summer could look like in your niche! Get creative, make it unique, and have a good time.
Our Birthday 🎂

Clapper’s fifth birthday is on July 22nd. That’s right; some of you have been leaders of the Clapper community for the last five years! We’re planning a huge celebration, including some insightful content prompts. Keep your eyes peeled here and @ClapperCreator for more details.
Need a few more ways to spend summer 2025? Check out this summer bucket list from the Clapper team! Whether you need to unplug or additional content ideas, this list is the boost you’re looking for.
