February is such a good month. It’s packed with holidays, cultural celebrations, and events highlighting community. Whatever you celebrate, February has something for you. That’s why, for February 2026, we wanted to expand your usual content calendar.
Instead of posting one video for a holiday or event, try themes. Don’t just post something for a few holidays; pick a holiday or two and post a variety of content for them, all centering on a key theme.
Here are six themes you should incorporate into your February 2026 content.
1. Black History Month ✊🏿

2026 is the US’s 100th Black History Month! But it’s not just about historical figures; it’s about uplifting modern voices and celebrating Black culture and achievements as they’re happening now. And it’s not just for Black or African American people. In fact, everyone should be celebrating Black History Month!
Black history and the achievements of Black and African American people fit into literally every niche. Try these four below!
- Share Black creators who inspire you.
- Highlight Black-owned businesses you love.
- Bonus points if they’re in your niche!
- Talk about a piece of media that impacted you.
- Celebrate notable Black figures in your niche.
As a note, try not to talk over Black or African American voices this month. Join in or uplift them, but if you aren’t Black, don’t make it all about you. At least, not while you’re creating Black History Month content.
2. Valentine’s Day 💘

The focus of your Valentine’s Day content should be love in all its forms. Friendship, self-love, familial love, and even creator-to-creator support or appreciation. Instead of just creating content about Valentine’s Day or trying to work it into your niche, expand it into the central idea of love.
Like these content ideas:
- Content creators you’d send a Valentine to.
- Love letters to your community or niche.
- Why (or how you came to love) your niche.
- Projects/ideas to create for Valentine’s Day.
If you want to pivot away from your niche, Valentine’s and the theme of love are perfect timing. Here are some additional ideas.
- Funny stories about being single or partnered.
- Self-care or self-date routines.
- Friendship appreciation posts.
- Valentine’s/Galentine’s agenda.
3. New Year Check In 🗓️

January’s done: how are you doing on your goals? Everyone’s either settling in or falling behind, including your audience. Check in with them to see how everything’s going – and how everyone’s doing. Revisit your progress, be honest, and normalize imperfection and slow progress.
For content ideas, this might look like:
- February 2026 expectations vs. reality.
- Checking on and adjusting goals.
- Systems that have been working for you.
- Project/progress check-ins.
This is a great opportunity to be a little vulnerable with your audience. Share what progress you’ve made or what you’ve learned, even if it’s not what you wanted. Encourage your followers to do the same.
4. Cozy Comfort Content 🕯️

Flowers might be starting to bloom, but February is still winter. We’re all hibernating, enjoying some time inside, or counting down the days until the time change. It’s cozy, and cozy content still performs well in February. Cozy and warm, as a theme, is a guaranteed hit.
This is especially powerful for lifestyle creators. The key is to share something that people can either replicate or want to save as inspiration. Try these ideas on for size!
- Morning or night routines.
- Your winter necessities/survival kit.
- Comfort meals, playlists, or hobbies.
- A cozy media watch list.
- Quiet productivity content, like a study with me.
5. Building Community 🫶

People are feeling more overwhelmed and lonely. Plus, winter leads to seasonal depression for a lot of people. Community, on and offline, is more important than ever. Make one of your February themes finding community and connecting with other creators.
This can be a goal you set for yourself or something you actually teach your audience. Content revolving around community and connection might look like:
- How you found your niche or community.
- Tips for making content creator friends.
- Shouting out or featuring followers.
- Share other communities you love.
- Talk about loneliness as a content creator.
Show your followers how they can connect with other people. Help them find community outside of what they’ve found with you.
6. Ramadan ☪️

Ramadan falls toward the end of the month, but creators will already be sharing content for it. They might be prepping for celebrations, starting to change their routine, decorating, or starting spiritual reflections. For some content ideas, that might look like:
- Pre-Ramadan reset routines
- Suhoor and iftar meal prep
- Day-in-the-life during fasting
- Spiritual goals for the month
- Community iftar gatherings or mosque events
While this is a sacred and very special celebration for Muslim, even non-Muslims can show support and amplify Muslim voices. If you want to create content about Ramadan, here are some ideas to get you started
- Sharing and boosting the Muslim creators you follow
- Learning about Ramadan basics and traditions
- Being mindful about posting food-focused content during fasting hours
- Supporting local Muslim-owned businesses
Just like Black History Month, you don’t want to talk over Muslim creators or make it about you. Uplift Muslim voices and encourage respectful curiosity.
February 2026 💐

February is a short month; don’t overwhelm yourself by doing all of the themes we talked about in this article. Pick one, two, or even three that really excite you! Sprinkle them into your regular content so they feel more authentic…and so you aren’t abandoning your whole strategy.
No matter what, put community at the forefront of your content this month. February is the perfect opportunity to focus on content that feels personal, community-driven, and reflective. Not only will it lead to long-term and sustainable growth, but you’re also bonding with your followers. At a time when everyone feels isolated, there’s nothing better.
