Even if you aren’t a coffee fanatic, you’re probably particular about your coffee order. And even if you aren’t a full-time content creator, you’ve probably got a specific process or brand you don’t deviate from. But did you know it’s a scientifically proven fact that your content creation style and coffee order are related?

By “scientifically proven fact”, we mean we like coffee and work with content creators. If anyone can connect the two, it’s us. In this article, we’ll break down the type of content creator you are based on how you order coffee. We’ll even give you a special tip based on your content and coffee order.

Black Coffee ☕

You’re a straight-forward creator. You know your content like the back of your hand and know exactly what you want to create. And we have the feeling you’re juggling a lot. There’s not much time to dress stuff up, and you’ve got creating content down to a science.

Tip: Step out of your routine a little. If you create at a certain time of the day, try to switch it up and create another time. Maybe step into a new niche for a few videos! You’ve got to keep it interesting.

Latte or Cappuccino 🫘

Just like a latte, your content is polished and perfected. You’re probably really big on the visuals and making your content look as perfect as possible. You have two (at least) editing tools on your phone, and you probably script out your videos before you ever think about recording. That doesn’t mean you’re fake: you just want to present the most refined version of yourself possible.

Tip: Try going Live! You can still develop a schedule or loose script, but get out of your comfort zone and let the unpolished version of you shine.

Frappuccino 🍨

Who doesn’t love a frap? Lucky you! Your process might be a little chaotic or all over the place, but you’re a fun and playful creator. You’ve got to be really inspired or energized to create: the feeling has to strike you. That energy shines in your content. Viewers love your high energy and welcoming, sweet personality.

Tip: You might struggle a little with your chaotic process. Try planning out a few videos ahead of time! Use a storyboarding method, have a set filming schedule, or even try out a new editing style. See if a little organization can help you be a little less stressed

Cold Brew 🥃

Be honest: you’re different, definitely not like other creators. You don’t follow or set trends because that’s boring. Like cold brew, you’ve got your own specific creative process and your content has a particular flair. Similar to the latte/cappuccino creators, your videos are polished and precise. Your content is unique to you, and you’ve got your brand nailed down.

Tip: Your content probably isn’t super silly…so we want you to experiment with something silly and fun! Maybe share some of your passions or something you collect, or show us a new side of your personality.

Iced Coffee ❄️

You may not be the one setting trends, but you know all the hot ones. You’re the social media expert of your friend group, helping to edit everyone’s videos and make sure they’re keeping up. If there’s a new platform, a new feature, or a new style, you’ve already learned how to use it.

Tip: Try creating something purely selfish for a change. Take a step away from your usual content and make a video purely because you want to make it. That might be introducing people to your pet, or creating some kind of funny video instead of your usual fashion content.

Hot Tea 🫖

You create with a purpose. No one can rush your process, and you find creating relaxing. Your content’s probably the same! It doesn’t matter what your niche is, they think your content is soothing and inspiring. You might even create in one, very specific niche and have a community you’re hoping to build.

Tip: Find ways to engage with your followers outside of the comment section. A quick reply to a comment is great, but maybe you can open up DMs once a week and respond to some messages. Or you can host a Radio where you talk with them directly!

Chai Latte ☕

There’s nothing cozier than a chai latte. You have a welcoming energy that your followers love, no matter what content you create. You’ve probably got a few other creative hobbies you’re trying to balance on top of content creation. Or maybe you want to merge them together!

Tip: Don’t let juggling a bunch of things stress you out. Slow down to really enjoy creating. Set a routine if you need to, or focus on the content you’re most excited to make. If you haven’t yet, working your other hobbies into your content is a great idea.

Matcha 🍵

You’ve got taste and style. Just like a matcha, when you tell people you like something, they give you a bit of a funny look. Then they try it and realize you were right. You know the trends, but you make them work for your brand. Oh, and you’re very detail-oriented. Perfection doesn’t begin to describe your process.

Tip: Ditch making everything perfect. Don’t worry about grabbing the perfect shot. Give yourself a peak at what the world around you looks like. You may find you prefer the imperfect.

Now you’re the trend-setter! And unlike the cold brew crowd, you’re actually different. You’ve got a fun, unique style everyone wants to emulate. Your creativity knows no-bounds, and you’re likely the idea man in any group.

Tip: You know that crazy dream you think is just out of reach? The video you’re dying to make or the collab you’re wishing for? Go for it! Figure out what you need to achieve it and chart a path. You’ve got the creativity to make it happen.

“Just a Lemonade” 🍋

You’re authentically you, no matter what kind of content you create. You think out of the box when it comes to content, and you don’t mind being the one to stand out. There’s a good chance you’re less concerned about going viral, making money, or even starting a community. You create just to create, and you only create what you’re passionate about.

Tip: Trends can be a good thing! Find a few that you think might work for your content and see if you can create with or for them. You’ll get to flex your creativity muscles and get a new spark of inspiration. And a few followers, which is always a good thing!
