For this week’s Clapper Small Businesses, we’re highlighting the 7th Clapper Shop of this new blog segment: Wyrd & Whimsy.
Why Wyrd & Whimsy?✨
Wyrd & Whimsy is a new shop on Clapper that sells 3D and resin objects such as jewelry and runes. Our street team met Melissa, the owner, at a small business event in the Dallas area. She recently joined Clapper to explore the shop feature to share Wyrd & Whimsy with a new community. This shop was created from her love of two things- fashion and the metaphysical.
Melissa and her partner, Jessica (who creates the 3D-printed jewelry), visit many markets around the DFW area to sell their creations. We love to see how in just a small amount of time, Wyrd & Whimsy are setting their own path and building a community around their small business on Clapper. Our favorite thing about this shop is the cute and dreamy designs they showcase.

1# 3D Printed Heart Earrings in Pink

We designed and printed these ourselves from PLA filament, and can offer tons of different colors. I wear earrings every day and know how much of a strain it can put on my ears, but these are SUPER light.
2# Sparkly Skies Winged Athame
Notes From The Shop Owner:
Along with Runes, Athames (small daggers) are also a metaphysical product that I have not seen many handmade options for. I mix resin, mica powder, and glitter into my molds to create beautiful, custom athames. Sometimes I will even use heart shaped sprinkles or dried flowers.
3# Mermaid Tail Drop Earrings
Notes From The Shop Owner:
I LOVE being in the water- so of course one of my earring sets has to be mermaid themed. Getting the tiny jump rings on can be tough, but I can spend hours making jewelry and love the results I get. I typically do not buy the same charms twice, so once it’s gone it’s gone- I always encourage my customers to go with their heart and get what they like! What can be more fun than having a limited edition, unique item?
4# Earthy Rune Set With Rose Petals
Notes From The Shop Owner:
Rune sets are the heart and soul of my business, and where it all started. I also make these out of resin, and then etch in the rune symbols with paint markers. Having a rune stone set that you connect with is very important, and with few options to purchase runes out there, it gave me the idea to start my business and bring more attention to this Nordic art.
5# 3D Printed Pentacle Necklace in Gold
Notes From The Shop Owner:
Our 3D printed necklaces are SO lightweight- you forget that you are even wearing jewelry. Keeping true to metaphysical chic, we have pentacles like the one above in addition to tons of other fun shapes. The filament used to make this one looks so much like real gold, and we have many other colors to choose from. My favorites are the pink and the sparkly black ones.
