Clapper’s Profile Tags feature elevates the way creators find connections and express themselves. With this feature, creators can add tags for their specific interests to their profile and connect with creators all across the world. Keep reading to learn how you can add your own tags and make the most of them!

What Are Profile Tags?

This feature allows creators to add self-identifying tags to their profile. These tags will not only highlight what you’re passionate about, but when you tap any of them it will highlight other Clapper creators with those same tags. Some benefits to having tags on your profiles are:

• It allows you to add up to 20 tags so you can show who you are as a whole.
• It will help your community find you easily based on your interests, passions, and beliefs.
• It will help you find other creators outside of your community that might have the same interests.
• It will recommend users not only with your same tags but that live in your area.
• You can create your own customized tag and share it with your community.

You can remove or edit these tags at any time. Just tap one of your tags and at the bottom of the “People with this Tag” page will be a button that says “Edit My Tag”.

How To Set Up Your Profile Tags

Setting up your tags is easy. All you have to do is go to your search bar and tap the “Friend Match” button. Select “Add” and start selecting the tags that best identify you and your content. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can select “Customize Tags” at the top and create your own. When you select “Save”, you will have the option to input your city, birthday, and gender. All these selections are optional.

Once you have selected your tags, it’s time to explore the Friend Finder in your search bar.

Once you set up your Profile Tags, Clapper will automatically match you with creators using the same tags and give you the opportunity to either message or follow them. Yes, like Tinder, but for friendships and connections.

If you’re interested in being a creator’s friend, you can either follow them or select the heart emoji on the bottom right side of the screen to send them a DM. You can edit the message to your personal form of greeting, or you can send Clapper’s template. If you’re not interested in getting to know them, tap the two purple arrows in the bottom right and keep browsing for other creators.
